Film Archive
EFCHS member Steve Johnson has now added another new section on his EvertonResults website (external site). It contains links to video clips from Everton games in the pre-Prem era, listed chronologically. Some are just a few seconds long, some contain just one goal, some all the goals, some have longer highlights and some have full matches. The links (mostly to YouTube videos) are in the end column on the right of each page, together with an indication of who the original broadcaster was. (Also included are details of other matches that were also broadcast for which Steve could find no clips). Like the rest of Steve’s site, this will soon prove to be an invaluable resource.
Crawford Miles edits
Crawford Miles is the EFC Heritage Society Film/Video Archivist, and has an incredible set of Everton related footage in his collection. He has been frequently asked to edit together film sequences for a number of functions, including the Hall of Fame evening and the Harry Catterick 100th Birthday Anniversary. Crawford can usually be seen in St Luke’s on matchdays, where he often has film clips on display relating to the day’s opposition.

Everton FC Heritage Society Helps You To Know Your History
From the official Everton FC website…
‘The Know Your History feature is the result of a collaboration between Everton Football Club and the Everton FC Heritage Society and have so far featured the renaming in 1879 from St Domingo’s FC, our first title in 1891, the split from Anfield in 1892 and Dixie Dean’s 60-goal season.
The content behind the films, and many of the images, have been provided by Heritage Society members, and Everton experts, Peter Lupson, Jamie Yates, Rob Sawyer and Simon Hart.
The Society has worked closely with Everton on a number of initiatives and has been the driving force behind some terrific projects such as the rededication of former player gravestones, the securing of medals for Derek Temple and Adrian Heath, and evenings at Goodison Park celebrating the likes of Dixie Dean, Joe Mercer and, most recently, Harry Catterick.
And, of course, thousands of Evertonians regularly enjoy the magnificent displays in the church hall of St Luke’s every matchday.’
