Gavin Buckland
Gavin, a journalist on the Liverpool Echo, is the official Everton Football Club statistician. He is also a Question of Sport script consultant, a Radio Merseyside regular, and a Liverpool Echo Royal Blue podcaster. Gavin contributes to the matchday programme and EFC website, and has written several books on the club and its history. His latest volume is the acclaimed ‘Money Can’t Buy Us Love’ which tells the tale of how John Moores and manager Harry Catterick took the so-called ‘Mersey Millionaires’ to the summit of English football, in the context of the major cultural changes of the time.
