Whitechapel Donations

Paul Kelly is pictured above at the Whitechapel Centre when we delivered the winter wear and toiletries donated by staff at Everton Football Club , Everton in the Community, staff at Essar Oil Stanlow, and Everton Heritage Society. The Society has been collecting since the turn of the year, with winter clothing and toiletries acculminating in five large boxes and twelve bin bags being delivered today. Former Everton players Ronnie Goodlass and Pat van den Hauwe have also supported KitAid and the Whitechapel Centre with personal donations. KitAid at St Luke’s Our latest boxing session took place today had 70 boxes (2275 items) kit are on their way to Africa, especially Malawi and South Africa. Ourselves Here at Essar, the heritage society Everton Fc, EiTC, Everton supporters and Fanatics along with have been fantastic supporting kitaid and also with the winter training gear going to the Whitechapel centre for the homeless. Everton legend Derek Temple was finally been presented with a League title medal, 53 years after helping the Blues lift the trophy. Temple had played in five games for Everton in the Championship winning side of 1963, but at the time that wasn’t enough to be presented with a title winner’s medal. Former Everton star Ronny Goodlass is will have a DVD on sale at St Luke's Church and the Winslow every home game. The DVD pays tribute to one of the Club's most iconic legends, Alan Ball.
